So Friday has finally rolled around and Spring Break is almost here. I need a break so bad! Im still praying so bad for good weather at the beach! Im also looking forward to some free time to record! I wanna get a bunch of stuff up for you guys to listen to. I think you will dig it! Johnny and I sat down at Birkdale Village yesterday for a little practice outside. It was cool to practice in front of people. Bunch of them just came over and sat down to listen. Cool little way to get your music out there. I think we will do more of that. So I finally figured out how to throw the new bowling ball I got last night! Broke 200+ with it last night finally! So after about 4 weeks of throwing like crap... hopefully I got it:) unfortunately there are only 3 weeks left in the season :( I cannot wait for Friday to be over and for spring break to begin!!! I'm in such a need for a break. Hopefully the weather will work out for me this weekend while we're at the beach. crossing my fingers for sun!! I'm going over to Johnny's tonight to hopefully record some music. If it doesn't happen tonight, I will guarantee I will get some new songs posted while I'm on break next week.... I promise:)

So today is my 3 year anniversary with my beautiful girlfriend Ashley! It has been 3 wonderful years and I'm sure we will have many more to come! We are going to a nice dinner tonight at Villa Antonio and then heading to the beach this weekend! I am praying the weather will work out for us. I need some sun in my life! My spring break is also starting on Friday!!! 12 days off!! HOLLA!!!! Not quite sure what I am going to do with my time. I'm planning on getting more recordings uploaded..... SO STAY TUNED!

So last night there was a crazy storm that came through Charlotte. Some of the best thunder and lightening I've seen in a while. We actually lost power around 2 am and still haven't gotten it back. We even lost power at my school, which is gonna make it tricky to teach today, hmmmmm. Gotta make it work! The power better be back on by the time I get home or I will be upset!!!

So I've been kinda playin hooky from the blog the past few days.... BEEN REALLY BUSY! So I had an amazing time at Tavern on the Tracks yesterday afternoon out on the patio! The sun was shinning, the drinks were flowing, the music was blasting and everyone was having an awesome time! Thanks to fan support it looks like "The Atlas Shrug Project" will be playing there every Sunday (weather depending.)!!!! I hope you can make it out one of these Sundays to enjoy some tunes!!! I also got to see a solo acoustic show of Dashboard Confessional on Friday night!! It was an amazing show! This was my third time seeing them live and they still amaze me. I'm hoping to go to the Solo acoustic show performed by Citizens Cope at the Neighborhood Theatre on the 12th..... but we will see. It's my GF's and I 3 year anny so idk if it will happen or not.

I do have a show coming up this friday the 8th at THE WINE DIVE up in mooresville. The place is fairly new so I'm hoping to pack it out! Hope to see you there! oh..... and it is going to be a solo acousic performance as well:)

I just received bad news that my buddy Seth that I used to work with at Eez has passed away..... you will be forever missed buddy. You always knew how to have a good time and had a smile on your face. You are in a great place now and you are missed.

So if the weather works out for us this Sunday we will be playing at Tavern on the Tracks out on the patio! Again, they have crazy good Bloody Mary's and kick ass breakfast! So I broke down and bought my own bowling ball. It's pretty kick ass:) Can't wait to find out how to bowl with it! Totally different than what I'm used to, but it's a good different. High gave last night with it was 160........ guarantee the ave. will only go up ;)

So I go from cursing the weather, to praising the weather! Why couldn't we have this weather on Sunday when I was supposed to play at Tavern?!?!  I also heard it's 25 degrees in Rochester, NY and 3-6 in. of snow is expected!!!! HAHAHAHAHA. This is why I moved south!
So I got my bowling league again tonight.... I'm gonna be sad when the league is over. I really enjoy it. Especially when I take 60$ from my friends in bets on Sunday ;) Stay tuned for scores!
Also, PLEASE don't forget about us playing at the Gin Mill on Saturday! It's gonna be one hell of a show! It's always a blast there!

So unfortunately, the gig at Tavern on the Tracks got cancelled due to poor weather. We were scheduled to play out on the patio but it was about 55 degrees and cloudy. We will be playing there VERY soon though! Hopefully this Sunday if the weather works out for us! Don't forget about our show this Saturday the 26th at The Gin Mill!!
